Increasing Public Access to Visual Arts:
-Banbury Planter Project - public commission installed July 2007

-OVADA residency to explore sculptural ideas and techniques and to interact with the general public on a daily basis. Received sponsorship from stone masonry company, and Wroxton quarry. Dec 04

-Jericho Art Group (JAG-Oxford) co-founder and co-chair. Aims to foster relationships within the artistic community of Jericho, promote exhibitions, organise special events and projects, 01 - present
-Kids @ Art consultant/administrator and grants writer:  bringing visual artists into the schools of Oxfordshire, 01 - 05
-President and Chief Administrative Officer at San Francisco Women Artists (SFWA) 95-99, a 250 member non-profit organisation with a public gallery. Some highlights: 
 o	Co-ordinated and curated a show called Hands and Heart, the Art of Healing, which illustrated the connection between art, and healing and fostered a dialogue between the public and artists relating to the act of creating a memorial. Guest artists and art pieces included a panel from the AIDS Quilt, The Breast Cancer Names Banner called Raging Light, a talk and book signing by an artist who runs a year long workshop and art show called The Way of the Doll, and exhibition of paintings, sculptures and videos. Feb 97
 o	Co-ordinated and curated a collaborative show on breast cancer called To Life! with the Art.Rage.Us show about breast cancer survival, held at the SF Library.  Special events included talks by various doctors specialising in breast cancer, the instigator of the breast cancer postage stamp (stamps cost 2 cents more than usual with proceeds going toward breast cancer research), a specially choreographed dance, body art ("art bras") by breast cancer survivors, and filming of the event. Oct 98 
 o	Initiated and organised participation in the annual AIDS Awareness Day observance each December 1.  Artists made items and delivered them to hospice centres in the city. 98-99
 o	Organised support of KQED (a publicly sponsored TV station) on pledge night.
 o	 Synchronised television participation with International Women's Day.  SFWA (50 or more members) helped to raise money for the station, sporting hats made by the membership. 97-98

-Fremont Community Services Fremont, CA. Activity Specialist in Art - Taught ceramics to adults and children. Developed and taught a parent/child ceramics art class. 88 - 91
